Honda CR-Z Mugen RR - no power details forthcoming
We’ve reported quite a bit on Mugen UK’s efforts to sprinkle fairy dust on the Honda CR-Z Hybrid to turn it in to the sort of hybrid that would appeal to a keen driver. And now it’s the turn of Mugen in Japan who have also built a supposedly one-off CR-Z – the Honda CR-Z Mugen RR. The Euro Mugen CR-Z – which was on show at Goodwood last month – was eventually fettled to deliver 197bhp by bolting on a supercharger.
Opel is adding a bit of rally credibility to the new Adam by taking it rallying with an Adam R2 rally car for a one-make cup. But perhaps GM Europe are hoping to inject a bit of performance credibility in to the uninspiring mechanical offerings the Adam currently offers with the revelation that they’re making a rally Adam prepared to basic R2 spec, which means a tweak or three from the standard production car. That means upgrades to the engine, suspension, brakes and gearbox to produce an Adam rally car that’s an affordable entry point for young drivers and Opel are aiming to compete in the ADAC Opel Rally cup with the Adam R2.

Azfal Kahn and crew do enjoy tweaking and pimping the products of Land Rover to suit the Tango-skinned inhabitants of Cheshire and Surrey. It started with the Range Rover Sport (the latest version being the Khan RS300) but now extends throughout the entire Land Rover range from the Range Rover to the Freelander 2 (the latest Khan Freelander 2 being the RS200). There is one model in the Land Rover range which hasn’t yet been the subject of Khan’s attention – the Range Rover Evoque.
